There are several options available to straighten your smile. Invisalign orthodontic treatment consists of a series of clear custom aligners that are hard to detect when worn.
Invisalign's series of custom aligners are designed to straighten teeth without the brackets or wires that come with traditional metal braces.
Your personalized treatment plan will map out your orthodontic treatment schedule. Throughout your treatment with Invisalign, you will wear each set of aligners for approximately two weeks, then switch to the next set in your series. This process continues until your treatment is complete.

Things to Consider
While Invisalign can be quite appealing to many people, it is important to understand that this course of treatment is not suitable for all cases. Those with severe misalignments or cases of jaw misalignment would likely benefit from a different treatment option.
You should also consider that while it is convenient to be able to remove your aligners whenever you want, the more time spent without your trays in your mouth, the longer your treatment will take. Your aligners must be in your mouth for 20-22 hours per day to be effective. If your dietary needs or lifestyle make it so you cannot schedule your daily meals and subsequent dental cleaning in the 2-4 hour window you might want to consider alternatives.
