Dr. Rakesh Maini is a skilled dentist whose journey began in Nairobi, Kenya. He earned his dental degree from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in England and further honed his skills through an internship at the Royal Dental Hospital in London, before obtaining his Canadian qualifications. Dr. Maini has gained significant experience, which guides his practice.
With a commitment to excellence, Dr. Maini's mission is to deliver the highest standard of oral healthcare to his patients, emphasizing comfort, gentleness, quality, integrity, and compassion. His philosophy is to help patients "smile from the inside out," reflecting his dedication to both their dental health and overall well-being.
Dr. Maini’s extensive experience spans across a wide range of dental services, including general dentistry, Invisalign, cosmetic procedures from simple to complex, surgical treatments such as extractions and implants, and comprehensive full mouth reconstructions. He takes the time to understand each patient’s individual needs and preferences, ensuring that all treatments are tailored to meet their unique requirements. He is known for his thorough explanations of treatment options, aiming to create desired and predictable solutions.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Maini enjoys preparing fine cuisine, traveling, road cycling, fly fishing, reading, and watching movies. He also takes joy in spending quality time with family and friends. He is committed to continual learning, both through direct education and online resources, staying updated with advancements in dental techniques and treatments.
He is an active Freemason and a member of Wellington Square Masonic Lodge 725 and The Hiram #2 Royal Arch Chapter. His dedication extends to the dental community as well, where he has served in various executive positions with the Burlington Dental Academy and spent six years as a Councilor with the Ontario Dental Association. He is passionate about mentoring and educating fellow dentists and dental team members, sharing his knowledge and experience to advance the field of dentistry.
